"Decorated with engraved band showing trophies of arms. On upper part of the backplate is a standing knight in costume. Backplate is damaged. Borders on each esselle are cut off.

Provenance: Purchased by William Randolph Hearst from Arnold Seligmann, Rey & Co., Inc., April 24, 1924 for $429.51; sold to Gimbel Bros., Inc., February 30, 1943 for $95."
