Description

Bell helmet with face grill; gorget with pauldrons of three lames. Short breastplate with tassets of six lames. The backplate with extremely long three lame garde-de-reins. Gauntlets with fingers with original leather lining. All parts original.

Provenance: Purchased by William Randolph Hearst from H. I. & R. H. Archduke Eugen, F. M. Sale, through the Anderson Galleries, March 7, 1927.
