"Of bright links, with three bands (four links high) of latten links decorating the lower part of the cape. Double mail from collar and extends over the shoulders, three rows of latten links appearing dispersed for ornament near the brim of the collar, which is wide, opening on one face to a depth of ten inches. Beautiful specimen of this rare defense, whose use is well illustrated in ""Kriegsvolker in Zeitalter der Landsknechte.""
