Abstract
This module was developed within the context of the common read 'Look me in the eye: My life with Asperger’s' as part of one class period within the LIU Post 101 curriculum. An instructor can easily modify the context and length of the module for there is no shortage of topics concerning “fake news”. Instructors may use this course in either its prescribed format or as a tool that enhances your facilitation, teaching, and individual instructional expertise on the subject. The purpose of this module is to: Teach critical thinking and information literacy skills needed to question, analyze, and verify fake news and online information. Provide a foundation and conversation starter for future discussions on critically evaluating information sources with which students engage ubiquitously.
