Description

"Plain locks and barrels, the former marked M.S. and the latter 2. Stocks very finely inlaid with ivory and pearl; long hexagonal pommels. From the Collection of Mr. Grossrath Burki of Berne. Provenance: Purchased by William Randolph Hearst from Samuel H. Austin Sale, through American Art Association, April 24-28, 1917 for $640; sold to Gimbel Bros., Inc., Nov 30, 1942 for $310."
